It's Ewing Rodeo day, and the family is out in force, with both Bobby and Ray showing their riding skills. Sue Ellen has her head turned by cowboy Dusty Farlow at a restaurant. J. R. is does not approve and makes it very clear to Dusty - and Sue Ellen. Ellie is preoccupied. A clean and sober Digger comes to the rodeo to see John Ross III.
