The battle for Ewing Oil begins, to Pam's concern. Mickey settles into Southfork ranch reluctantly. J. R. seeks a variance for pumping more oil. Lucy decides to go back to work. Rebecca buys Wade Luce's oil company for Cliff to run but he can't face dealing with J. R. again. Pam and Bobby get the date for the final adoption hearing.
