The laundry machines in the hospital breaks down one after another, due to old age. But there isn't enough money to buy new ones. The laundresses then go on strike! After a lot of trouble, and with the help from a famous union man and Penny they sort the problem out. Steve meets the school teacher Jane McLaughlin, and they end up in bed togehter.
