Palmer and Opal come down to bust J. R. out of the psych ward, but when Palmer learns the entire truth about what J. R. has done and that he was keeping Bess at Oak Haven, he turns his back on his grandson for turning into Adam. After visiting the chapel she is having built for her son, Babe takes a wrong turn to Llanview, where she sees Kevin Buchanan and his son, Ace.
