A Place for Annie

The compassion of a divorced pediatric nurse leads her to become foster mother to an apparently abandoned HIV-positive infant named Annie. Annie's hardened birth mother, a destitute AIDS victim, resurfaces and wants her daughter back. Ultimately the two women reach a compromise and move in together to share Annie's parenting.
