Uncle McTavity asks GP to build him a computer to play the bagpipes for him while he runs his general store. The computer runs on potato chips and helps McTavity by doing his books as well, but the music it plays is so awful that it drives everybody on the Riverbank crazy. It ends happily with McTavity welcoming everyone into his clan.
